Of Past and Pastures of Green

In the past I made quite a few mistakes, however, I cannot say that I have done absolutely nothing during my stay in California - I have made and lost friends, learned a few things about life & love, and realized that Soka just wasn't meant for me (and vice versa). These are the things that will change my life. I will not return to SC as the same person that I was when I left it, I know that for sure. My parents will ask what happened to their little girl and all I will say is that she has evolved into a woman. They know my mistakes just as much as I do, but they are ready to embrace all aspects of me and welcome me to the club of ADULTHOOD. They will never judge me or shun me because of who I am. I know that when the rest of the world isn't working for me, I will always have a home back in South Carolina. And home is where I'm going.

California has been quite a ride, but I must say that South Carolina is a million times better. I miss my extremely large backyard with the green grass that tickles your feet. I miss Winter and Spring. I miss snow. It snowed recently and I missed it (big frowny face

). In South Carolina, the grass really is greener. No really.

For now, I'm just relaxing in Santa Ana. Perhaps Soka will see my face a few more times, but don't hold your breath. My parents are preparing for my return and I am slowly preparing for my departure.

Thanks to all the people that stayed, and didn't stay, in my life. You have taught me so much about human nature, love, and suffering. I wish you all the best.

I'll be leaving in June, so don't cry just yet
